Building Tiger Nation Finance Committee Meeting (November 15, 2018) The Building Tiger Nation Finance Committee met on November 15 to continue its deep dive into school finance. The meeting focused on Ohio Department of Education requirements, how governmental entities in Ohio are funded, and expenditures and revenue sources specifically for the Loveland City School District. Since the district is primarily funded by residential property taxes, the meeting also went into detail about the Loveland Schools property tax base and provided a “tax to income” as well as state funding comparison with other districts in the region.
